Repointing & flaunching
Repointing replaces damaged mortar joints to stop water getting in. Flaunching is the mortar collar that seals the chimney pot to the top of the stack. We renew it when it cracks.

Lead flashing
Flashing is the metal seal where the chimney meets the roof. We fit new flashing or repair existing flashing to keep the join watertight.

Professional service, great lead work, friendly people
Dan and one other came and inspected the roof to establish the origin of the leak. He removed 8 tiles, checked the membrane and the lead flashing and could find no evidence that the water was coming from outside. He concluded that the leak was possibly coming from inside the property and suggested what action I should take. He refused payment for the inspection as he couldn’t find anything wrong with the roof. It would have been fairly easy to convince me that repairs were necessary. I would have no hesitation in recommending his company or using his services in the future when necessary.
