Dursley sits below the Cotswold edge, with older stone properties as well as estate housing. We cover the town and take the existing roof as our starting point, rather than applying one recommendation across both. For a stone home, keeping appropriate details matters when planning a repair. On an estate property, we still need to check the covering and surrounding areas before deciding what is necessary or how far the work should extend.
If you are uncertain whether to repair or replace, a survey gives us a way to discuss that question in detail. We look at the fault, explain what we find and show you photographs rather than relying on the age of the building. You then receive a written quote for the proposed work, allowing you to consider the condition of your own roof and ask questions before choosing the next step.

Groundwork and property
Roofs in and around Dursley
The mix of older stone homes and estates around Dursley means roof work should be planned for the individual property. We look at the material already in place and the condition around the affected area before recommending changes. On an older home, a repair should be considered alongside the details that remain. On any roof, replacing a visible damaged piece may not answer every question about a leak. We explain what the inspection shows, including whether a local repair is appropriate or wider work needs consideration.
